I am fucking Disgusted with this state right now. we're ok with giving rights to farm animals raised for food, but we're not ok with giving our gay friends the right to get married? what the fuck, California? we just made history by electing the first ever Black president, and then we go and undo all that progress by telling our gays citizens that they cant get married? that is fucking insane! we must be out of our fucking minds! why cant a gay/lesbian couple have the same rights as a heterosexual couple? i know a lesbian couple, my friend Megan's aunt, Janie, and her wife, Angie. this is a couple that truely loves each other. how can you tell me that their love is any different from any Husband-And-Wife couple in the whole of California? its the same Emotion, people! and fuck this shit about how a Civil Union is the same thing as marriage, and it gives all the same rights. if that were true, why not let homosexuals get married? if its the same thing, why not just call it a Marriage? this is just another group of people who are being actively discriminated upon. just like the African Americans in the 50's, just like Women before them. and just like these groups that came before, reform will come for our gay and lesbian friends. i'm confident that this society will come around, and realise that discrimination of ANY group of people based on sex, ethnicity, religion, background, or sexual orientation is WRONG.

A bit on Racial Pride...
Even though anyone who has ever met me knows this already, i would like to start of this Blog by saying that I AM IN NO WAY RACIST. i don't believe that black, Mexican or any other non white peoples are in anyway different or less of a person than white people. thank you.
now that that disclaimer is out of the way, here's the second, and most important one. i must warn you that some of you might find this blog to be a little controversial. i will not apologize for having my views, nor will i change them because they offend you. i will, however, apologize if i offend, it is not my intention. my soul intention is to put forth an alternative view. this blog is only for the purposes of discussion, and the Sharing of views. Thank you.
why is it that in America, the Nation that promises the Freedom of Speech, is it considered wrong or in bad taste to have White Pride? when a Latino walks down the street wearing a tattoo that boasts "Brown Pride" and Black people are Encouraged to have "Black Pride"? why is being proud to be White considered so bad? a White person says anything to the effect of "White Pride" they are automatically considered racist. why is that? it bugs the hell out of me that i, a perfectly normal adult White Male, cannot be proud of being white without being thought of as a bigot. in my high school, there was a Black Student Alliance, an Armenian Club, an Asian/Pacific Islander's Club, and a Hispanic Club. i tried to start a club for people of Celtic (Irish, English, Scottish, And Welsh) descent, and not only could i not find a staff adviser for it, i was told by certain school administrators that even if i did find one, it would never be allowed, because it was too close to a White Club. i was completely stupefied by that. Black people, Latinos, Armenians, and Asian/Pacific Islanders can have clubs where they share their history and culture, but White people don't get to? what the hell is that about? why is the White Man still an enemy?
the majority of my time in High School, i was made to believe that i was inferior to my minority classmates because i was White. i was called White Boy in a tone that implied that it was an insult. it was made clear to me in every class project or team event that my opinions didn't matter because i was White. i couldn't even argue the point without being jumped. when i asked why, i was immediately told "because that's how you treated us back in the day."
that response pissed me off more than anything. because first off, i wasn't around back in the day, and i never treated anyone any different based on color, gender, religion, sexuality, or ideals. second, nobody in my family that was alive back then did either. in fact, a lot of my family participated in the Civil Rights Movement. somewhere, i have a picture of my grandfather shaking hands with Martin Luther King Jr. during a protest.
my point is, why, when every other ethnicity under the sun can sport their pride, cant White People do the Same? i understand that the Klu Klux Klan and the Nazi Party and other white supremacists are still around. but i got news for you guys: they are a tiny minority. the majority of White people feel the same way i do. saying that all White people are racist is like saying that all Black people are ignorant, or all Mexican people are illegal immigrants. or all Jewish people are greedy. it's just not true. in fact, i have a Jewish friend named Abram, and he never has a problem paying for lunch when we hang out.
I'd like to end this little number by saying please don't leave comments or messages telling me that i am a racist bastard, because it shows that you didn't read, or didn't understand, anything that i wrote in this blog, and you're just wasting your time and mine. I'll just delete them.
